The Ten Commandments, a 1956 biblical epic, was directed by Cecil B. DeMille. It is one of the most financially successful films ever made, grossing over $65 million at the US box office. Adjusted for inflation, the film would be the sixth highest-grossing movie domestically (in the US), with an adjusted staggering total of $1,025,730,000 in 2012.
